The Water Street Inn in Kittery was awesome. Great location, nice and clean, super awesome comfy bed, close proximity to Portsmouth. And met some wonderful people. If back in the area we will definitely stay there again!

We love this inn for its suave rooms, relaxed atmosphere and super location for a weekend getaway or a stopover on our way home. Kittery offers great places to eat like Black Birch and, not for nothing, it's the home of the stunning, 98' tall Maine State Champion Cork Elm (which the town is inexplicably determined smother with pavement - but we won't go there).

We had a lovely stay at the Water Street Inn. The grounds and building are beautiful, close to the water and surrounded by a garden. Love the ease of entry )everything is by door codes, so coming and going, check in is a breeze). Love that they had snacks, coffee, tea available on the common area. Staff was kind, available but not overbearing. Honestly it was perfect! Rooms was cozy with a nice view and comfy bed. The location is fantastic, right across the bridge from Portsmouth We will come stay again!

We got a gift certificate that we used and will definitely be back. Great location! The little touches from snacks in the lobby to a variety of coffees and teas was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very friendly too! Rooms and lobby were neat and clean. It’s so nice to stay in a different place other than a typical hotel.

Charming house and garden. The rooms were so comfortable. Everything sparkling clean and soft. Quiet even though I think the Inn was full. Hosts were easy to reach and responsive. Nice walk over the river into Portsmouth, with all it has to offer. Loved our stay.
